Leading Investment Management firm in London is seeking a Business Change Programme Manager, to drive and support the delivery of large and complex initiatives. Please not we are only able to consider applicants with recent experience of leading business change/ business transformation programmes for other Tier -1 Investment Management /Asset Management firms. Also hybrid working model requires 4 days in office (+ 1 day WFH).

The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of programmes and projects encompassing business, process, technology and organizational change efforts. You will ensure outcomes for your programmes are clear and that senior management support our initiatives, effective prioritization is being applied, work is sequenced properly, and key accountabilities are understood and adopted, all the time maximizing value by ensuring connection to overall business strategy throughout all phases. As well as acting as a resource for business contacts regarding project management methods and change capabilities, all the time leveraging the services and capabilities of our client’s central change office whilst developing new services to support the portfolio needs across EMEA.

Required Skills
• Managing multiple, interdependent projects or workstreams; high/complex degree of inter-dependency across projects • Working largely independently on programmes of appropriate complexity • With limited support from senior management, you can independently develop initiative governance structures to develop agendas and facilitate meaningful discussion for projects you are leading • Executes initiatives via enhanced practice-area methodologies • Demonstrate thought leadership in developing and introducing different ways of approaching delivery • 8 + of project/program management experience. • Be a manager who has led high performing teams and inspires others to achieve meaningful results. • Will have had previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience including business strategy, operating models, process improvement, change management, etc. and will have employed flexible delivery models to execute on this work. • When developing a plan, you consider long term impacts and make a personal commitment to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints. • Be used to solving complex problems and bring the confidence and courage to add value. • Be a skilled communicator, who inherently places a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging, constantly looking to fine-tune your communication style to influence a variety of personality types at all levels within the organisation.

The successful applicant will bring the ability to:-
• See ahead and balance short-term solutions versus long-term strategic solutions • Provide insight into resolution of complex situations which require a judgement calls to get to the best outcomes • Be a role model for the team at keeping cool, calm and collected in highly stressful situations and tight deadlines.
• Pivot in the moment to prepare and communicate topics that require alignment; in particular where any disagreement might exist. • With limited senior management guidance, identify and manage project teams through ambiguity by defining the appropriate path or framework • Build a change management strategy and plan as part of the delivery of an effort.
• Leverage expertise from the Change Management practice for highly impactful change efforts • Demonstrates ability to build proficiency with applying and executing innovative change management techniques. With support from Change Management practitioners, can develop an approach on which techniques to best apply for specific initiatives. • Effectively able to develop and execute upon communication/content development strategy to effectively engage and inform stakeholder groups. Able to identify appropriate and most connective communication channels to engage the appropriate audience groups. • Develop and execute approaches to identify, define and work with stakeholders • Actively manage and (when required) renegotiate expectations for programmes/projects with business stakeholders • Engage with stakeholders and work through disparate opinions to build a collaborative delivery approach • Demonstrate ability to coalesce a wide range of differing opinions (e.g., related to a solution, project issue or risk, etc.) and get to an answer from which the initiative can proceed at Senior Management • Seek creative out-of-the box solutions to solve problems that can deliver maximum value to business, not being constrained to current ways of doing things • Be comfortable developing less-experienced colleagues, assess talent and provide mentoring as and when required
